Sport
Physical Education as a subject is divided into three focus areas: ‘In movement’, ‘Through movement’ and ‘About movement’. Students studying Physical Education at Harvest Christian College will participate in a variety of physical activities focusing on one or more movement concepts or strategies. Students evidence their improvement and reflections through the use of technology such as game data, video analysis and fitness data.

Sport
Here at Harvest, we make a conscious effort to provide our students with opportunities to thrive in competitive environments. Not only do our students participate in Health and Physical Education, they have the opportunity to participate in countless extracurricular sporting events. Since our school began, we have continuously been increasing our involvement in school sports. In 2020 our school was presented the Howard Mutton Award for our outstanding participation in school sport.
We participate in SACSA (South Australian Christian School Association), SAPSASA (South Australian Primary Schools Amateur Sports Association) and SSSA (School Sports South Australia) sporting events. We believe that participating in these events allows our students to learn skills and behaviours that will make them successful in life. Most importantly, it provides students with the opportunity to thrive in team environments. As a college we are further investing in the sporting capabilities of our students by providing them with state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities.
