Middle School
Harvest Christian College opened the Middle School in 2002, fostering positive relationships with students and sharing the Gospel message to its students, families and community. In opening the Middle School, HCC enabled a loving and caring Christian environment, giving students the opportunity to grow their Christian faith and develop their God-given gifts and talents, equipping them for a life with hope, meaning and purpose.
Purpose
Students in Middle School (Years 7-9) are supported in their transition from Primary school, through to Senior schooling. Middle School aims to challenge students through engagement, innovation, and enriched learning programs.
Education
Education in Middle schooling strives for excellence in Christ-centred learning in which all learning needs are met. Learning programs are innovative, utilising progressive approaches to incorporate a Christian worldview into all curriculum areas.
Wellbeing
Student wellbeing is a strong focus within the Middle School with staff fostering a sense of belonging and connectedness for students. Staff embed and promote healthy spiritual, physical, mental and social wellbeing through pastoral care practices.
