A brief history of Harvest Christian College
Harvest commenced as an R-7 school, but due to parent commitment and God’s blessing, the school was granted registration approval by the Non-Government Schools Registration Board to extend to Year 10 in 2002. By 2009, the school was registered to accommodate Foundation to Year 12 students.
Harvest Christian College continues to be a friendly and vibrant school with a warm and safe environment. As a Christian College our desire and purpose is to honour God in everything we do. The College is a testimony of God’s grace, love and forgiveness. We welcome families who have a desire for Christian values and beliefs to be taught and upheld. It is the place for all who want the very best for their children. It is our prayer that Harvest Christian College will stand as a testimony of God’s love for the people of the Yorke Peninsula area.

Today Harvest Christian College (HCC) has over 300 students and continues to be a friendly and vibrant school in our community with a warm and safe environment. As a Christian College our desire and purpose is to honour God in everything we do.
We are a growing school, with friendly students, caring staff and a commitment to developing authentic relationships within our community. We want all students to thrive and reach their God-given potential. To this end, we aim to provide an education that matters; one that challenges, one that encourages and one that seeks to build into all areas of our students’ lives – spiritually, academically, physically and socially. Not only are we committed to excellence in teaching and learning, we have a passion to develop a community that lives out Biblical teaching and Biblical truth.
Our students grow in their understanding of their own identity and continually explore their world from a Christian worldview. We have a desire to be excellent and yet distinctive. The quality of your child’s education plays a pivotal role in shaping their future. Our staff make it their priority to provide your children with the best possible education. They are nurturing, dedicated, passionate and committed to inspiring their students. As they focus on embedding a Biblical Worldview into curriculum, relationships, and classroom practice, our staff encourage students to discover their purpose in this world and to become leaders and influencers in their communities.
At Harvest Christian College, we strive to provide a vibrant and safe learning environment. We want our students to become resilient, confident learners, equipped to face the challenges of everyday life and able to build positive relationships. Most importantly, we want them to know who they are in Christ.
